If we’re honest, gratitude can feel hard sometimes. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to miss the quiet ways God is working. But when we pause, even for a few minutes, and choose to thank Him, something shifts in us.
This November, I’m inviting you to join me for Rooted in Gratitude, a daily devotional series built around one simple truth:
Gratitude changes everything.
When we choose to give thanks, we stop living from reaction and start living from recognition. We begin to see how God’s hand has been steady all along, in the blessings, in the waiting, even in the heartbreaks that taught us to lean in.
Each week we’ll focus on a different kind of thankfulness:
- Week 1: Thankful for Who God Is - His goodness, mercy, and peace.
- Week 2: Thankful for the People in Our Lives - family, friends, and community.
- Week 3: Thankful for What God Has Done - remembering answered prayers and grace.
- Week 4: Thankful for What’s Still to Come - hope for what’s ahead. Every day, you’ll find a new post here with Scripture, reflection, and prayer.
And here’s what I’ve learned (and keep learning): gratitude doesn’t just make us happier, it makes us more aware of God. It turns our focus away from what’s missing and back toward the One who’s been providing all along.
So let’s do this together. Let’s slow down. Let’s give thanks. Let’s get rooted in gratitude.
Prayer
Father, thank You for every gift that I’ve overlooked. Help me see You in the simple moments this month and teach my heart to stay rooted in gratitude. Amen.
